Yuzu

A must-have citrus in Japanese cuisine, yuzu is inevitably found in many beverages (alcoholic or not) in Japan.

Yuzu produces very little juice for its size (compared to its cousin the yellow lemon from "Citrus limon"), but there is no need to use much to feel the full depth of this little lemon. While there are yuzu juices made 100% from the fruit, we strongly advise against drinking it alone, as it is very acidic. It is better to dilute it with sparkling water, lemonade, or water...

This is why it is found in small quantities in non-alcoholic beverages, whether in the form of lemonade, ramune, syrup, or drinking vinegar. Ideal for quenching your thirst.
