Gomamen Udon
Udon are those long and thick white noodles made from soft wheat flour. They are appreciated for their elastic and generous texture.
Gomamen udon have something extra that will make you forget the classic vacuum-packed udon found in the refrigerated section of supermarkets. Slowly dried, these speckled udon hide a delicious black sesame flavor. The secret: whole roasted seeds have been incorporated into the smooth dough of these traditional noodles. The pronounced aromas of black sesame enhance the softness of the udon and will give an incomparable stature to your next noodle dish.
Note that sesame adds its touch of magnesium, iron, and phosphorus to a food that is already rich in nutritional values.
