Lychee Ramune
Much more than a soda, Ramune is an institution in Japan. It is, however, just a simple carbonated drink, a kind of lemonade (its name actually derives from the English word lemonade). Except that the interest here is less in the liquid than in its bottle: the bottle is sealed with a marble that must be pushed down, which produces a "pop" sound and a characteristic tinkling.
Inspired by Western lemonade, Ramune surged into Japan during the reopening of the country to foreigners, corresponding to the Meiji era (late 19th century). It has since been consumed during matsuri (traditional popular festivals) and even celebrated on May 4th. Here, Ramune is in its lychee flavor version, exotic as desired.
Usage : At the school exit, as a gift for a novice (or a nostalgic), for fun, to get scared, or simply to quench your thirst: there is always an occasion to drink a Ramune.
Storage : Store in a cool, dry, and dark place. Consume quickly after opening.
Ingredients : Water, high fructose corn syrup, acidifiers (E330, E331), flavor enhancer E327, lychee flavor.
